THE CITY OF AMMAN:
| Amman the capital of Jordan with a long & fascinating history dating back over 3000 years, this city was settled by a restless cast of characters. Ammonites , Assyrians , Babylonians , Persians , Greeks , Romans , Byzantines , Umayyads & Crusaders are among the more familiar. JERASH:
The Corinthian capitals is now set in a green fertile valley along here were shops for goods brought by camel caravans coming from the Orient. This site is considered as one of the most beautifully preserved & restored Roman provincial city in the world dating back to the 1st & 2nd centuries. Some of the fine features to be seen there are the large elliptical colonnaded forum. Two theaters, the Triumph Arch of Emperor Hadrian, The Street of Columns whose paving stones still show the chariot wheel-marks & the impressive temple of Artemis.
MADABA:

MOUNT NEBO:
Mount Nebo the Highest point in the Moabite range has been a center for pilgrimages since earliest Christians times. A small church stood on this spot in the 4th century, it became a large basilica in the 6th century. It was partly rebuilt & the elegant mosaic was restored by the Franciscan.
KERAK:
Kerak is distinguished for its for its Crusader castle built in the 12th century lays on an older one dates back to the Nabataeans times, it houses now an interesting museum.
PETRA:
| The 2000 years old unique rock craved city, the pink & salmon colored capital of the Nabataean Arabs. This unforgettable site flourished for over 400 years around the time of Rome & Christ, till it was occupied by Romans in 106 AD. The entrance to Petra is most unusual & Dramatic as you pass through a deep & narrow passage leads to a huge temple. AQABA:
